[school-discuss] Re: Membership Entry Notification

Thanks. I have completed everything below. I have also built
educationalsites.net, and would like to link back to schoolforge.net, and
any other educational site you may have, or of anyone's. It is completly
free, and we'll write an article about the site and place it under their
supplied logo and link back to them. I get quite a bit of traffic on it
now, so if anyone wants to take me up on it, please email me.

I live in SW Kansas and finally got the school board here to allow me to
donate a few servers to them running RedHat 7.2 to use for their email,
databasing, and print sharing in a couple of their elementary schools. They
use windows exchange for mail, and about every 2 months they infect the
entire town with viruses from their mail and web server. I am trying to
prove to them that Open Source Software will save them so much time, effort,
and money. I figure we'll be going in with more servers for the high school
and two middle schools within the next couple of months. The uptime has
really gotten their attention. We kind of upset their IT guy, (but he is a
avid windows user, so he'll just have to get over it.) They were figuring
that a complete linux system will save them about 50000 a year.
