there are many ways to prevent wiki spam, the easiest way is just to  
alter the content submission system so it is not 'normal', and thus  
won't work for most bots.  there are other tools too, there are  
scripts that monitor content submission on wikis and the like and  
reverts certain non-human actions.  depending on which wiki you are  
using some anti-spam tools are already present.. for instance  
mediawiki has a blacklist built in, which you can auto-update with  
any number of tools.
