New Funding Initiative To Recognize Role of Technology 

                    Up to $600,000 is available to nonprofits working
with technology issues through the Hitachi
                    Foundation?s new initiative promoting the role of
technology in education. 

                    Grants ranging from $25,000 to $100,000 are
available for projects that use information technologies
                    to improve and advance teaching and learning.
