I didnt know kids still use software for encyclopedias :) In most of the
schools I have visted (high school mostly), they use the internet for
all research. This may include subscriptions to online databases (ie,
research journals), encyclopedia,etc.. Kinda like most colleges do it.
Anyway, I have noticed most kids spend 95%+ of their time on the
computers surfing the web and using Microsoft Word or PowerPoint.
Occationally they will whip out Adobe Photoshop and screw around.
