Hi seul-edu readers

I want to inform you the creation of the gruoup SLEC and to invite the
interested people

SLEC = Software Libre y Educación en Colombia
              = Free Software and Education in Colombia


Objectives of the group

* To share experiences regarding the use of free software in
educational institutions in Colombia
* To promote the utilization of free software in educational
institutions of Colombia.  In the short term we are promoting the
utilization of GNU/Linux in eduactional instituions of Colombia.


Public

* People who have helped in the installation, capacitation or
development of free software for educational institutions in Colombia.

* People interested in installing, capacitating, developing or that
want to be informed about free software in the context of the
Colombian education.


To ease the communication we have created an unmoderated distribution
list in spanish.
To suscribe send a empty message to: slec-subscribe@egroups.com

We are a very young group, but I hope that in a near future we can
share experiences and resources with the SEUL-EDU group and with other
groups that are working with free software and education.
