VB to Perl/Tk translator

The more I think about this idea, the more I think that this would be a _very_ 
useful addition for the Linux community.  I don't know if it would be 
particularly important in the educational field, but for all those organizations 
that aren't considering Linux because they have useful software developed 
in-house in VB this would make it much easier to move toward Linux.

I'm not sure this is something we should be developing, but I _am_ sure that it's 
something we shouldn't let fall by the wayside.  Does anyone have an idea of 
where we can pitch this idea so that someone might begin work on it?
