adhoc update

hi everyone,

finally getting back into the swing of things.

this will be the posting site for project adhoc (until someone has a
better idea).  thanks go to cran sysads for setting up the account.

btw, i tried to access the system cvs repository, but was denied due to
not being able to write the history file.  that's fine for now -- the
~ttn/repo works.  however, in the future, i would like to open it up for
net.collaboration, etc.  something to backburner...
