At some point, yes, it would be nice to have an edit.com clone but at this
point the discussion is correctly on which existing editor to include in the
first release.  Also, you should probably be looking an an existing editor to
modify to make more edit.com-like than trying to produce yet another editor.

It is nice to dream but if you start coding an editor now it probably will not
be ready in time for the first release anyway and the other things that we need
worse right now would be deprived of your coding skills.

What we need right now is a good ncurses disk discovery/partitioning tool, a
good install setup that includes networking discovery/setup, and a good solid
basic list of general apps picked from the myriad of applications that are
already out there.

I also like the idea of an m4 x config generator.
