I had planned to send this to Mike alone but I feel this book is a good
enough reference (from what I've read so far) that others may be
interested.  The book is "Open Source Development with CVS" by Karl
Fogel and is put out by CoriolisOpen Press.  This book is very good for
the CVS beginner.  It even has several chapters that fall under the
GPL.  It has some history behind CVS and open source and suggestions on
how to manage an open source project.  It has been a good read so far
(about 1/3 finished).
