They are free to make their business decisions, as they see fit, and people are free to vote with their wallets. I'm a fan of open-source software. I do think that a lot of people using open-source software contribute to open-source. I don't think complaining about this business decision is very productive and takes attention away from we should be discussing and collaborating on.
