You presume that analog designers know make? Few of the analog designers I 
work with know make. On the other hand, all the digital designers I work with 
know make, they use it everyday and know the syntax by heart. But they don't 
use any schemaic capture, they use emacs and vi to write their Verilog/VHDL.

The best analog designers I work with work on the command line, but they 
modify their SPICE deck. Having the circuit in their heads, so to speak. Not 
good for documentation, but at layout the schematics are updated....
