Overlapping pads with the same number are fine, we use those all the
time.

For non-touching pads with the same number, I think pcb connects one
of them up, it's up to you to get the rest connected.  Note that the
*.net has nothing to do with this; it just gives pin X and hopes PCB
knows where pin X is.
