Re: gEDA-user: Parts DB API



Hi All,

I also think Database approach is the right idea.  Most commercial EDA 
tools
use that approach.  I hope we can try to make the gEDA DB interface
as generic as possible, so that it can accommodate VLSI design cell
librarie as well as PCB component libs.

So can we make a list of what should come from the light symbol and what
should be injected by the database?
