The standard is 300 mils. My preference is to make smaller symbols.

I usually do not use the inversion bubble (but I probably should).
I looked at your symbol and it is very similar to symbols that I
create.

My preference is for smaller symbols.

If there are a lot of notes or long part numbers I would center the part number
and notes like you did.
