I'm not trying to stir up the bees nest, but I prefer to keep net names 
simple without and any notion of active level.  Active low pins get the 
bubble.  A former colleague clued me into this method.  It's kind of 
nice in that you never have to go and update your net names (add/remove 
bar) to fix up a change in active state.  Besides, how many formats have 
you seen for inverted net name?  How 'bout: #foo, !foo, \foo, foobar, 
and of course, foo with a bar over the top :-)
BTW,  I code this way too (verilog, vhdl, etc.).  The net names never 
indicate active state. Works for me, just my opinion, and we all know 
about opinions :)
