Hello fellow gEDA/PCB users,

What would be the correct footprint to use for a typical leaded PTC
thermistor (vertically mounted disc with two pins coming out the bottom,
5 mm apart)? Is there an existing pcb footprint (either m4 or newlib
style) that would work, or would it need to be a new footprint? Drawing
a footprint with just two pins is not hard at all obviously, but I still
need to know how to call it. :-)

I would call it THERM-500P-<length>L-<diameter>D

where <length> is 100 * body length (mm) and <diameter> is 100 * body
diameter (mm)

or THERM__<mfg>_<mfg_pn>

where <mfg> is the name of the manufacturer and <mfg_pn> is the manufacturer's
part number.
