Sure we have, but there are so many GUIs, so little time...
A plugin that put the output of footprint generator scripts into
an immediately editable form sounds nice, but we have some fixes to do first.
PCB needs to be restarted before library parts sow up in the library window.
The plugin might work by starting another instance of pcb after the generator script is
run, then allow edits, then save as a footprint might happen without any further commands
from that new pcb window, the on close the .fp would be available. If PCB updated
its view of the library somehow without a restart.
