Ok.
I guess it says something that in order to find (well, run into and then
find) this bug I had to check out the cvs, upgrade guile, libgmp, perl,
gettext, automake and even gdb but the part that really makes me cringe
is using sf's tracker to submit a bug...
Unfortunately the only thing CVS is good at when it comes to distributed
development is fixing bugs in my own copy that I can't commit but can
keep using as I merge changes forward. I remember back in the early days
of GIMP when you had to go on IRC and beg for patch commits I built up
a local copy that had quite a few bugfixes! All of which were also rotting
as patch submissions.
