You're right.  I appreciate the report!  Unfortunately, I can't do
anything about fixing the CD to work with Cygwin right now.  

In the future I hope to build a small test setup with several machines
running various flavors of Linux.  One of them can be a Windoze box
with Cygwin on top of it.  When I do that, I will try to work out a
way to install on Cygwin.  Meanwhile, if somebody else finds a
solution before me, please post it!
