Although this may not help your immediate needs, I am in the process of
fixing some of this in the CVS version.  I have a patch from Wojciech
Kazubski that creates EPS files, along with UTF-8 internationalization.
I am also in the process of cleaning up the Postscript output, eg.
making it a lot more compact.  I have identified the areas of libgeda
that need to be modified and am now starting to design the postscript
prolog.  The current CVS version writes the DSC headers, with the
bounding box set to the page size, this should at least help with the
ps2epsi conversion.
