gEDA-user: announce: new version (0.6.7) of the ngspice frontend easy_spice

Hi all,

I'm pleased to announce a new version of easy_spice.
It's is a gtk frontend for ngspice and gnetlist.
http://easy-spice.sourceforge.net

It was written for educational use by Jean-Marc Routoure.
That's why each step in the simulation process has it's own button.

What can you do with it:
* start gschem
* generate a netlist (using gnetlist)
* simulate
* view op values
* view op solution in a temporary schematic
* view simulations (with ngspice)
* save the setup

see also:
http://easy-spice.sourceforge.net/documentation.html
http://easy-spice.sourceforge.net/examples.html

changes in version 0.6.7:
* ported application to GTK2
* support new gschem fileformat
* added library dialog
* added save/load/saveas menuitems
* local configuration file added
* bug fixes

Future plans:
* Create one GTK2 Option dialog
* integrate gnucap
* use different waveform viewer instead of ngspice plot
* run simulations in background

Future ideas:
As easy_spice is writen in gtk2 it would be possible to integrate it as
a dialog into geda or gschem. (at the moment it's in the tool menu in
geda).

Questions and comments are very welcome.

Regards
Werner Hoch
