It uses real polygons in the gerber files rather than hatching with lines like some older EDA applications. Use the Polygon tool, or the simpler Rectangle tool to define Areas of copper on the desired layer. Track contain a flag that keeps the polygon copper from pouring over to it. Make sure to turn on the switch "enable newlines, arcs clear polygons" in the settings menu. This only affects new tracks. If you already laid out many tracks without the clear flag you can select them and use the command changejoin(selection). There are a few lines in the wiki on polygon issues: http://geda.seul.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=geda:pcb_tips#the_polygons_shorten_my_tracks_what_can_i_do_about_it ---<(kaimrtin)>--- (Just learnt this stuff a few weeks ago...) -- Kai-Martin Knaak kmk@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Blog: http://lilalaser.dyndns.org/blog
