I'm not getting any errors with ghostview on Linux, either.  However, their 
are many blank pages (group 8) being randomly inserted into the output file.  
Let me know if you would like to see the file.

In order to build it I copied ps.c into pcjc2/src/hid/ps and did:

make clean
make
make install


You'll notice I'm using Peter Clifton's GL code from his nightly git 
repository.
