With the regular teachers I did have a problem to become motivated 
because chemistry wasn't really my turf. But this guy brought the 
practical side out. He'd teach us which products from our daily lives 
were made using a certain process and why.

His very first session started out like it would have to in an industry 
setting. He said in his thick Czech accent "Firrst saffety. Must always 
know wherr iss fire ixtingisha and tellaphonn" ... and we knew, this was 
going to get interesting.
