I've head that Xerox brand photocopiers all stretch the copy in a
particular direction, such that non-original documents can be detected
by the aspect ratio of the print.

I'd personally never buy / rent a Xerox copier (not that I have cause
to), thanks to this kind of stupid corporate DRM'esque tinkering.

I don't know if their printers also stretch slightly, but it would be
worth knowing what sort of printer you're using.

You can try placing a few vias or lines at known coordinates in PCB,
then printing and checking to see if the scale is 100%. I it isn't,
suspect the printer + driver (or options set in the printer driver). For
most accurate measurement, use a good distance between the measurement
points, say most of the page size you intend to print out on.
