Looks like that program just reads in a PBM, inverts all the pixels, and 
writes it back out as a PBM.  I'm not seeing anything that translates to 
PCB file format.  Did you post the right program?

pstoedit is being mean to me too.  It is emitting an empty PCB file.  My 
EPS was created from a screenshot by KolourPaint.  Its thumbnail shows 
up correctly in Gnome File Browser on my Fedora 9.

Any suggestions at all would be helpful.
