OK, seems to be a problem of gsch2pcb and/or gnetlist.

Using attributes graphical=1 makes that element is not present on pcb,
but it connections are still in netlist (at least if the symbol is
connected in schematic and has refdes and value.)

Is this known behavior?

stefan@AMD64-X2 ~/gEDA/DAD $ gsch2pcb --version
gsch2pcb 1.6
stefan@AMD64-X2 ~/gEDA/DAD $ gnetlist --verbose
gEDA/gnetlist version 1.4.0.20080127

Remember to check that your schematic has no errors using the drc2
backend.
You can do it running 'gnetlist -g drc2 your_schematic.sch -o
drc_output.txt'
and seeing the contents of the file drc_output.txt.

ERROR! You must specify at least one filename

Usage: gnetlist [OPTIONS] filename1 ... filenameN
