Ack. There should be a better way to do this. A powerful search and
replace dialog would be nice. Allow each and every attribute to match
some regexp expression and change it according to some other expression.
I liked such a feature with protel. It me allowed to do things with a
snap, that would have been tedious otherwise.
BTW, a related missing feature in gschem is the ability to exchange a
component short of a delete and manually recreate the symbol. Ideally
there would be a command to choose a replacement symbol from the lib,
whose pins, location, rotation would be matched. If the same attributes
exist in old and new symbol, they would be assigned the same value. Is
such a not so dumb replacement already in the list of features to be?
