I have donwloaded the files called *.gbr from that location and tested it.
I tried both version 0.13 and 0.14 and none of these version crashed when
I loaded them.

The files tested were:
G274Bot.gbr
G274Silk.gbr
G274SMbot.gbr
G274SMtop.gbr
G274Top.gbr

Did I miss something?

Another thing; you mentioned 0.13, but there is a 0.14 version. That has a
for instance a fix for crashing when reading RS274D, so you might try that
one out.
