yes :-)

It is linear, but it is coupled with disadvantages. This style increases 
the width of the top bar. So it actually uses more screen estate than the 
default layout (except for monitors with very low resolution). There is a 
usability downside, too. It spreads the most important controls for manual 
routing over a larger area.
