I agree.  The question of i18n (internationalization) is an important
one that we should think about going into this rather than as an
afterthought.  After all, we're not "market driven," so we shouldn't
ignore anyone out of hand.  If we do this right, it should be relatively
simple to provide localization info for each culture that then
integrates into the basic programs.

I'm not sure that Tux is a problem, but I agree that we need to be aware
of cultural sensibilities in what we do.  I'll be awfully surprised if
there isn't some place in cyberspace that can review things for us with
a view to (as the old definition of "gentleman" goes) not
unintentionally giving offense.
