Well... it's confusing to us because we're familiar with the internal design of
everything, and we know that everything resides in the Categories table... visitors
to the site won't, and don't need to know that.  To them, it makes sense that
Apache be called an application, not a categoy even though it will be that.
Example:

Distributions
  RedHat
    Networking
      DNS
      WEB
        Apache
        Squid

I'm not saying that's exactly how we'll set the tree up, but lemme use it as an
example.  In the above example, we have 7 categories.  Of those 7 categories, THREE
would display on the "Chhose Your Application" drop down box.  Those three would be
DNS, Apache, and Squid.  Why?  Because those 3 do not have any sub-categories, they
are the bottom rung, and hence meet the definition I'm proposing as an
"application".  

Now as I said, you can simply select the app, or you can begin to navigate down
through that tree that I've created above.  I realize this may be confusing, but
does everyone understand what I'm saying now?  And if so... what are people's
thoughts?
