Again, pygame ctypes is not going to replace pygame. Pygame will continue despite pygame ctypes. However it might be called a different name, and move to a different website.
Please stop repeating this, as it is untrue.
I think Alex is referring to the not so distant future where Python is coded and compiled in PyPy, a time when most C extensions as they currently stand will either become redundant, or be reimplemented.
