[pygame] pygame, almost release freeze...

Hello,

I think it's about time to freeze pygame for release.

This means we stop adding in features, and make an RC4 release soon
for testing, and bug fixes only.

So we'll create some binaries for windows, and mac, and release a
source tar ball for testing too.

But before we do that, is there anyone who wants to get some small
last minute features in?

Or are there any major platform issues that need to be fixed first?
I've got a couple of mac osx things I want to fix... but should have
them done this weekend.

I've added links to other bug trackers here (like debian, suse etc):
http://pygame.org/wiki/patchesandbugs#OS/Distribution%20bug%20trackers%20for%20pygame

I'll be working through them on the weekend, but if anyone wants to
take any on, that'd be good.

I'll also go through the doc comments on the pygame website, and
integrate any fixes+ good additions from there.

Here's the process we will take for the release:
http://www.seul.org/viewcvs/viewcvs.cgi/trunk/docs/howto_release_pygame.txt?rev=975&root=PyGame&view=markup

We should release 1.8 by around march 1st I think... unless we come
across any major issues.
