Beside being slower I find the biggest drawback using wxPython for 
graphics is that it has two image types, the Image and the Bitmap. 
Neither supports a complete set of useful operations; to do anything 
interesting requires a lot of converting between one type and the 
other. Pygame only has the Surface, and it integrates well with 
Numeric arrays.
