Did you know that you can have Star Office for free?

I understand that many people in education use Openoffice.org. But, why?
Star Office uses the same code base but works better and has additional
features.

You can also have the curriculum at no cost.
Yes this is all true. BUT, I cannot give out copies of Star Office to all my students and staff to take home and install on their PCs for FREE. I can with OpenOffice! This is why we use OpenOffice.
