We accept of course your proposal. 

First thing to do I believe is to provided a localized version for india
(gcompris is full utf-8 now). 

Then, perhaps, it would be nice to implement some local games that kids
use to play in india on paper (no specific idea, I just think it may
exist). 

Other than this, indian language is rather obscure to us, having some
kind of training and discovery of your language and culture would be an
excellent way to make our kids feel closer and let's dream avoid wars ;)

On your side of course, it will make gcompris closer to the way you
teach.
