Re: [school-discuss] recommended distro of Linux for PIII/600 MHz older PCs



We are doing something like this in Winnipeg. The program is called the
Computer Lending Library.

We have been using Ubuntu on system as low as 450MHZ but the majority are
533 or above. Ubuntu works great but,like most Linux, likes lots of ram.
Our test system was quite usable with 384meg of Ram.
