Re: [seul-edu] School Networking Guide
I didn't follow this discussion too carefully, I had an inbox problem and found
it easiest to just delete a lot of mail. However, I have done a lot with
networking different services. Netatalk (integrating Macs & trying to keep them
secure -- havev't bothered with the printers, since I use networkable printers),
Samba (Window 95, 98 & NT -- don't quite know how to do the Domain server on
Linux yet though -- also need to experiment with printers here since this seems
to be the easiest way to let windows users print) & considering Linux Terminal
Server Project, dns, dhcp, etc. However, most of this is easy or otherwise well
documented. I am not sure what we would actually do. I suppose write some
thing targeted at schools -- like netatalk & samba shared files for classes,
etc.?
