If you have the .iso file somewhere on disk, just mount it
directly, and use it exactly like it was a disk.  The mount command

This is the way I install the software. My mount command is ---

 mount -r -t iso9660 -o loop /path/to/installer.iso /media/cdrom

(* jcl *)




You may want to spend some time reading the man page for the mount command.
