What I like about the current design is * needs no labels/additional description/whatnot
* very compact so it can be used in shop/transporter windows as well
I like this idea. I think that there should be movement cost and possibly
combat modifiers shown in the unit info window. Either overlayed as Dave
suggested or somewhere below the respective terrain. You know, sometimes
people aren't satisfied with statement like "units fight usually better in
forests" :-).
Whew, I have just looked in the game data and found out that this statement would suffice :-). But I'd like to know the exact numbers without examining the sources :-).
We discussed a terrain info display before but never reached a conclusion.
It would be good if the data could be accessed in-game somehow but it's a
little tricky to decide what to show, where, and how. I don't think the
unit info window is the right place.
