I use 4 because my fab have only drills in tenths of milimeter, so 4 is 0,1mm 
and all my footprints have drill sizes with a value multiple of 4 mils...

Thats tricky, but I do select the via, do a :ChangeDrillSize(SelectedVias, 
+300)
Its not... intuitive, but works (almost) :D
