No, I can never find anything in my mailboxes.

Never mind, I saw the bug when I built 1.4.2, and have written a fix.

Markers are drawn properly in 1.5.1, due to the "slack" area of pixels
added to each on-screen region invalidate. Not nice, but it works.
(Until the text marker becomes bigger than a line grip or cue!).

For the cairo branch, I've actually turned _off_ rendering of markers
for non-selected text. Will that give you any grief?

They turn back on when you select the text, but if the marker is smaller
than (IIRC) 2x2 pixels, it turns off again.
