   I had exactly that problem when I lived in Cape Coral, FL...wound  
up having to get a T-1 at close to $400/mo.  Fortunately I was able  
to defray that cost (and make a few bucks) by running some hosting  
services.

   And yes, before I moved there, I checked DSL availability...the  
dumbass sales droid parroted "sure, we cover that area!"  (I check  
data service availability before I check for such optional things as  
"running water"...I can buy water at the 7-11 up the street!)  Of  
course he was wrong, which I learned AFTER I bought the house.
