This is a big goody to me. With analog circuits certain nets need
special treatment. This is much easier if I can see them exclusively.

same here. The first thing I do when doing the placement on a new layout is turn off the ground rats under the assumption that I'm going to use a ground plane. Then I can place parts without ground (or power) rats confusing the placement.
