Re: gEDA-user: DRC vs shorted nets?
OK shooting from the hip...
A pin or pad is definently connected to a net. Copper between pins/pads
is less definite. How about a hot/cold system. Show copper changing from
one net to the next based upon distance to the nearest pin/pad.
Just a wild assed non thought through idea....

Their location changed in such a way that the connectivity was changed. In
your sourceforge example, it placed a track right across the two pads of
C101. This is a nice solid short, not a tenuous one, thus there is no DRC,
only a short.

Ok, but it would be nice if something gave the location of the short. Change
color, or X/Y points.
What defines "tenuous" distances? Zero is apparently not a tenuous distance.
How do the tenuous distances relate to the "DRC Minimium..." under the size
menu? A distance of one gets a warning but zero does not?
