Yes, it did thank you. I see that turning off the pads makes them visible, 
when they are like that.

After doing:

":ChangeClearSize(Selected,+3,mil)"

even with "Show soldermask" OFF those 3 mil clearances still show up
as light blue outlines, hiding the pad, is there a way to selectively turn 
those on and off?
