I've just started using twisted in the last month or so, and IMHO it lives up
to it's hype. Event driven programming isn't so difficult, is very usefull,
and is also good knowledge to have for GUI programming.

In particular the Perspective Broker paradigm is cool, handling many things
you'd have to do yourself using low level sockets. The mailling list
is also responsive, and it seems to be well supported (although it's still
rough in places).

What kind of game are you considering it for?
