Well, you might show them <http://casestudy.seul.org> for a list of many
other schools around the world that use open source software.  Also,
<http://www.osef.org> and <http://www.k12os.org> are good sites for
showing what is being done in US schools.  K12OS especially has good
resources for answering the questions that your target audience might
have.
