Another project with similar tools is Lilypond [1], they use texinfo
and git. As such the they can extract documentation from the source
code (for it's documentation) and have "written" documentation.
Their output formats is info-file, web/html, pdf/ps.

What they have produced is something to aim for.

Do we have other good examples of documentation?
